Organic fruit juice and soft drinks
 Organic
fruit juice, organic fruit cordials and organic soft drinks are now widely
available, and the range of organic choice available to the consumer is
growing more impressive every day.
Organic soft drinks, like other certified organic products, are made
using certified organic ingredients and processed using methods approved
by the organic certification authorities.
Fruit juice
Organic fruit juice is pure fruit juice squeezed from organically grown
fruits and vegetables. Pure means pure, with no additives being added
to the end product.
Cordials, soda and fizzy drinks
Organic cordials, organic sodas and fizzy drinks consist of water flavoured
and sweetened with natural organic ingredients. Only natural organic preservatives
and sweeteners are allowed. These include two naturally occurring preservatives:
ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and tartaric acid (sodium tartrate, which occurs
in grapes); and sweeteners such as honey, apple juice and agave syrup,
as well as ordinary sugar.
