Many aromatherapists and nurses today prefer to use organic essential oils because they believe the vitality and healing power is greater to that of conventional non-organically derived essential oils.
Organic essential oils are concentrated liquids derived from plants that have been grown naturaly on certified land without the use of pesticides. These oils assist the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself. Essential oils area also known to have antiseptic quilities and are often used to treat many symptons and diseases, either chronic or acute.
Organic essential oils work by penetrating the skin via hair folicles and sweat glands. They are absorbed into the body's fluids where they stimulate the immune system, strengthen the bodies natural defenses, eliminate toxins and promote new cell growth. Every organic essential oil has different properties although many are said to have a positive uplifting effect on the mind.
