Organic soap

Using organic soap can protect your skin from harmful ingredients and preservatives. Our skin absorbes up to 60% of what we put on it so using organic soap ensures that only natural ingredients are allowed into our bodies.

We have used soap for thousands of years to clean ourselves, our clothing and our dishes. Early soaps are thought to have been made from plant saps by crushing the roots in water to form a lather. Today soap is made from fats and oils, sometimes sourced from animals, which react with lys (sodium hydroxide). These fats may be mixed with petroleum-based ingredients, artificial dyes, fragrences and other components used to control the asthetical value of the soap.
